Chicago transit map

Bus stops appear from street level zoom; Divvy stations from neighborhood zoom. Departure times are “Scheduled” (published timetables); “Live” appears only when real-time data is available. Data may not be real time. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors. Line colors are used for identification only; this map is not an official CTA or Metra map, and ChiTransit is not affiliated with the CTA, Metra, Pace, NITA or Lyft/Divvy.

How to use the map

  • Find a place: type a station, stop or line in the search box, then pick a station or stop to zoom to it (a line opens its own page).
  • Next departures: select a station or stop to see its next trains or buses, then follow the link to its page for elevators, alerts and the full schedule.
  • Layers: use the buttons above the map to show or hide the 'L', Metra, CTA bus stops and Divvy. Bus stops appear once you zoom to street level and Divvy stations at neighborhood level, so the map stays readable.
  • Scheduled times: departure times come from published timetables and are labeled “Scheduled”. Real-time arrivals are not available on ChiTransit yet.
